戴愛玲出道11年，行事一向低調，從不花俏取寵，也很少出沒娛樂時尚圈的社交場合。這麼多年來，戴愛玲始終如一，專注歌手角色，對她而言，歌唱這件事是嚴肅而專業的事情，儘管平時的她有如大女孩般純真可愛，一但談起歌唱這件事，卻馬上收起笑容，轉而像個學生一樣，認真跟你談起“歌唱”這門學問。雖然鐵肺公主的歌唱實力早就可以匹配“歌后”封號，但是戴愛玲卻意外謙虛地説：“這個太不敢當了！”對於此次獻聲《愛情公寓4》，戴愛玲表示感謝導演的厚愛，希望有更多機會到內地來做宣傳。《gentleman》（紳士）是由劉偉德（Victor Lau）、戴愛玲演唱的英文歌曲，首次出現於《愛情公寓4》第4集，歌曲朗朗上口，輕快活潑。是《愛情公寓4》的原創插曲。

戴愛玲（Ailing Tai），1978年6月22日出生於台灣省屏東縣，排灣族人，屏東縣春日鄉歸崇部落的貴族後裔，中國台灣流行樂女歌手。1998年，戴愛玲因簽約滾石唱片而出道歌壇。2002年，戴愛玲發行了首張個人專輯《Magic》。2002年，戴愛玲推出了第二張個人專輯《為愛做的傻事》。2009年，戴愛玲轉索尼音樂併發行了專輯《天使之翼》。2011年，戴愛玲發行了首張精選輯《不只十二月》。2013年，戴愛玲發行了第六張專輯《想你的距離》。2015年，戴愛玲為愛情片《美人情園》獻唱了中文主題曲《一無所懼》；同年，戴愛玲推出了第七張個人專輯《我不離開》。
